Microsoft does not make it easy when you are looking for just 1 Product. I
will be purchasing a new PC. I have MicroSoft Office 2002 and Outlook 2002.

Am I correct, Office 2002 will run under Vista (Word\Excell, etc)?

As to Outlook 2002, I understand it will run under Vista except, because of
some Security Glich, you must enter your ID and Password Manually each time
when connecting with your e-mail Server. Is this correct?

If the above statements are correct, I plan was to Install Office Suites
2002 (which does not include Outlook (just Outlook Express), and Purchase
Outlook 2007 (or 2008 if out). The problem, there are varies Microsoft
Products that have the name Outlook in them. For example, Microsoft Office
Outlook 2007.....I can't tell if it has Outlook in it or not. What Microsoft
Product would I purchase just to get a Full version of Outlook 2007
(2008)...and would be the least espensive purchase price?

Its Outlook 2002 that I have, not Express, that I was referring to. Its my
understanding that Outlook 2002 will run under Vista, but, it requires the
user to entry ID and Password at each connection. Is this correct?

I have The Mircosoft Suites 2002 Install Disks that were packed with my Dell
PC. Are you saying if I try to load this software on another PC it won't
Load? Why? I paid for the Software, it will only be running on 1 PC?

If the above statements are correct, I plan was to Install Office SuitesThat statement of yours was confusing in your post since it is not true.
Office suites don't ship with Outlook Express.
Read the EULA that shipped with your install disks. If it is an OEM license
it is tied to the hardware that it shipped with. Yes, you paid for the
software but only to be used with the Dell machine. That is why you pay a
heavily reduced prize instead of the full retail prize which would have
allowed you to transfer licenses to other hardware configurations.
There won't be a 2008 version. Outlook 2007 was released at the beginning of
this year and a new version will take at least till 2009 (probably later,
see the Microsoft timeline for the latest release scheduling information).
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 will of course include Microsoft Office
Outlook 2007 (hence the title). Mary posted a link to the comparison chart
to find a correct suite for you.

Thanks, I'll check out that lonk.

So that I understand, was I correct, Outlook 2002 will run under Vista, but,
each time you connect the user is required to enter ID and Password?

Is it correct that my Microsoft Suites 2002, which I have my original disks,
won't install on my New PC...even those I will only be running it on 1 PC?

So that I understand, was I correct, Outlook 2002 will run under Vista,Again; yes. But note that you only get prompted again when you close and
restart Outlook
Again; check your EULA; I cannot see from here which license you bought.
Also note the difference between "can" and "allowed to";
I can drive through a red light with my car but I'm not allowed to.
