Product ID

Hello,

I recently purchased a copy of XP Pro. I was told that the Product ID code
(E85-04148) would give me information as to the legitimacy of the product and
if the person selling it was a legitimate seller. Is there a way to
detarmine this?

You may try checking this site for license verification. Though, it's
prefereable to catch some microsoft recommended resellers.
