Processes making your CPU over-run?

I noticed this was happening following installation of a wireless pcmia card.
My cpu was running almost permanently at 100%.
The culprit, on inspection of Window Task Manager Processes, "wireless winXP
zero configation."
Searched online for any forums etc dealing with this and found one. The
answer, apparently, is to disable this process and install the windows 2000
drivers.
I've done this and so far so good. Instructions on disbaling the xp process
here:

Very relieved to have fixed this (so far!), can't be good to have cpu
running at 100% all the time, so thought i'd share the solution should anyone
have the same problem.

hmmm...i got two machines on xp's wireless zero configuration, but never
encountered it using that much cpu resources.

anyways, what about the rest of the guys here? it would be nice to know
what the other guys here can say about andy's prob/solution.

regards!

It is an application that the belkin intsaller installs called, to give it
its precise name:
"WinXPDisableZeroConfigation"! That's exactly what it's called. I have
actually noticed that having uninstalled it that card responds coniderably
slower whilst surfing the net. Download and connection speed is good but you
just have to wait a good few seconds before it does anything. Annoying!
