process

hi,
I have a process running that is interfering /slowing
down the media center. It's info from task manager is:

i/o writes= 118, 146
mem usage= 2932k
username= LOCAL SERVICE
image name= svchost.exe
cpu usage= 60-65
gdi obj= 0

When I kill it, it returns. Any ideas how to stop it?
