Process not closed in XP

When closing some applications (eg winzip, The Godfather (=tag editor)), the
application itself disappears, also from the task manager. However, the
process view from the taskmanager shows than the process is still there.
After starting and closing the Godfather 10 times, the number of
'TheGotfather.exe' processes is queued up to 10, all taking a lot of memory.

I have XP SP2 and made sure that all microsoft updates are loaded.
To check that the application is not the problem, I have tried it out on
another PC (a more performant one) with the same XP version and the same
updates. On this PC the processes are terminated correctly.

What can be the reason for this behavior??????

Never heard of 'TheGotfather.exe'.

Sounds like it's a stay resident program, corrupted or poorly written.

Open Taskmanager |Processes tab | Right click 'TheGotfather.exe' |
End Process |Click Yes | Repeat

TheGodfather.exe = .mp3/.ogg/mpc/ape file manager
