process id

I have XP Media Center, and my streaming video(cable tv)
gets interrupted by a process which makes it skip. I can
go to task manager and kill the process and the problem
resolves. On task manager there is a "PID" column,
(PID=process id I think ) How can I trace the process
using the PID?
