Procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in MSDART.DLL

The error message below consistently appears at load time
when I attempt to startup Office XP 2002. Does anyone know
how to fix this? Reinstalling Office XP (plus all updates)
has not solved the problem. A fresh install (including all
updates) of the OS (XP PRO) has not worked either.

"The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in
the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL"

My guess is that MSDART.DLL is missing or corrupted. I
read somewhere that MDAC may be the culprit.

Does anyone have any suggesstions on how to fix this?
 
Never mind - the problem fixed itself with a fresh install
of MDAC 2.8.
