Probs with Display Driver

Help please...I just got my gateway computer a couple days ago & have run
into a problem running the Sims2 game. It keeps freezing my game up and says
Windows has made a severe error. It says that something is wrong with the
ialmrnt5 display driver. I have updated my microsoft updates & am getting
mad that this brand new computer is giving me these probs...any
suggestions????
