Hey!
I'm getting two separate messages and I don't know what
is going on! Hopefully, one of you, computer wizards,
will know how I can correct these problems.
Frequently, I get a prompt that says "System Shutdown"
Initiated by the NT Authority System - Remote Procedure
Call (RPC) service has terminated unexpectly. It gives
me 1 min. to save files then it shuts down the system and
restarts it. I don't even know what RPC is!! Why is
this happening and how do I eliminate this problem?
Secondly, I sometimes get another message that says,
Generic Hos Process for Win 32 Services with error
signature: SZAppNam:svchost.exe, SZAppver.5.1.2600.0,
SXModName: unknown, SXModVer:0.0.0.0 offset: 00000000
Files on error report: C:\docume~1\CJLOVE~1
\TEMP\WER18.tmp.dir00\svchost.exe.mdmp & C:\docume~1
\CJLOVE~1\TEMP\WER18.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt
I have no clue what these two problems mean or if they
are even related. I hope that they are easy fixes!!
Please help a poor computer illiterate person!!
Thanks so much for your ime. Take care. CJ
