Problems writing on the screen

I have a problem using my pen on the screen of my Toshiba.
Sometimes in Powerpoint or Journal, parts of the screen
(up to half of the screen) simply don't respond. I have no
idea where the problem comes from, but I am interested in
whether others have experienced similar things and maybe
found a solution.

You would be better to ask in the specific
microsogt.public.windows.tabletpc
group

But it sounds like a hardware problem to me
