Problems with ViewSonic VX900-2 LCD display

I have a ViewSonic VX900-2 display that I purchased brand new in
January of this year. Within several months, a minor problem surfaced.
When I attempted to access the "Information" option in the on-screen
menu, which displays the monitor's serial number, the controls would
lock up. If I rebooted my PC, the LCD would lose video. Only
unplugging and plugging the LCD from and into the power outlet would
restore the controls and video. Minor problem I thought, not worth
sending it in for repair. I just won't use the information option.

So a couple weeks ago, my LCD decides it doesn't want to show any
picture anymore. Turning the LCD on would result in the screen
appearing for about half a second, then fading to black. I sent the
LCD back to ViewSonic for warranty service. I received it back a few
days ago.

ViewSonic fixed the problem with the display not staying on. They told
me the printed circuit board was replaced. As for the problem with the
information option, it worked for a little while...but now, it doesn't
work again! Locks up the controls as before. I also received the LCD
back and it leans to the left. No visible damage but it's quite
annoying to have to prop a $680 display up with a magazine for it to be
level. I tried adjust the screws in the back to no avail.

So, if anyone can answer...(1) Why does that information option in the
on-screen menu keep failing; (2) Should I be worried about the display
failing again; and (3) What's the trick to getting the screen to
actually stay straight and level on its base?
Thanks to anyone who can help,
Michael
