The error I am getting is "C00D1199: Cannot play the file" in the middle of a
song or video or it doesn't even play at all just gives me this error. I am
having a huge problem, over the months my music files that I made with
windows media player are having problems. Most of the problematic music files
are wma files. I don't understand why it happens but it will sometimes just
stop in the middle of a song and quit. I also notice this sometimes with
movies I have on my computer also, like avi files. If I go a little past the
bad spot it will play fine until it hits another bad spot. The cds I used to
make these files where not scratched and they played fine when I first copied
them to my drive. Some won't play at all. I ran tests on my drive and it
seems fine. What would cause this slow destruction on my music collection.
Any Help at all or solution would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I am running windows Xp service pack 2 with windows media player 10. I have a
western digital 160 gig drive with my music on it. Thanks.
