Problems with printing reports

Environment: Windows 2000 Professional, using Access XP for development and
the Access XP Runtime version on the Windows 2000 PC's. I have introduced
two Windows XP Home machines (one for development, one for runtime) and
that is when the problem started.

I have an access report that prints corrently to the second tray of an HP
Laserjet 2200 DTN printer. This was created using Windows 2000 Professional
and Access XP. The report was created, previewed and the second tray was
selected in page setup. A button is used to preview the report. It was
then saved and the code was changed from preview to print. Windows 2000
PC's with Access Runtime are used. This has worked great!!

When I use a PC with Windows XP Home and Access XP runtime....the report
prints to the default tray not the second tray. Same code works fine on
Windows 2000 Professional.

If I use the Windows XP development machine, change the tray and deploy the
code....it works on the runtime XP machines but not the runtime Windows 2000
machines.

Any suggestions?

Thanks...

I have experienced the same headache. I found that the printer driver(in XP)
that was selected as the default for the printer was not the same as the one
that was being used for 2000. I would checheck the following :
- default printer tray assignments on each computer (should be the same)
- printer driver to make sure same driver is being used on both XP and 2000
- reinstall the driver on both caomputers
- page setup of document on both machines

drivers....thank you very much....
