Hi!... Always when I use any image in PNG/24 format in the final preview inside the Frontpage or Internet Explorer the PNG images are a bit more darker. Why? How can I fix this?

A PNG is a PNG is a PNG
- it should be the same no matter where you view it
- it's "appearance" will vary depending on the background around it
- it has transparency values that could also affect appearance
See http://www.webcolors.freeserve.co.uk/png/

PS
PNG is not universally supported by all browsers, and some PNG formats can create huge image file sizes

Assuming the file has a gAMA chunk with value 1/2.2, MS doesn't handle
gamma quite right.

Try putting in the sRGB chunk and removing the gAMA and cHRM chunks.

You can use pngcrush to do it:

pngcrush -srgb 1 -rem gama -rem chrm in.png out.png

Get pngcrush from the DOWNLOAD area of http://pmt.sf.net
