Problems with Peck's Power Join or Virtual Dub?

I hsave had a problem with joining avi movies using
Peck's Power to join movies lately. Some movies have
been converted from mpeg, mpg format using Virtual Dub.
I've rarely had problems before with it. When I've
opened Peck's and joined the series of movies it usually
joins it, bout a message saying files or sections might
be missing appears. When I try and preview the completed
movie before I delete the original video, an error apears
saying it can't be played. I 've tried looking in the
properties area and find the no audio or video is
showing

You'll need to contact the makers of Peck's I'm afraid. This is nothing to
do with windows XP. You might find help on either of these sites:

www.dvdrhelp.com
www.doom9.org

Do the AVI files play after conversion with VirtualDub? Also, you CAN join
in VDub too.... Both of these sites have guides....
