Problems with Outlook Emails

Just installed Outlook MS 2007 on my home computer a couple of months ago.
My problems with outlook are:

- I can receive emails in my outlook, except for outlook calendar invites
from other people. They never get to me.

- No one receives my outlook emails. No one receives my outlook calendar
invites.

Everything else seems to work. My calendar reminders for me work. It's
just that other stuff. Please advise!

What type of account are you using? Are you connecting to an Exchange
server where you work? Are you using a POP account? If the latter, have
you used the web interface to your mail server to see if the messages are in
the mailbox there? if not, then the problem is not yours to solve, since
Outlook can't download what doesn't arrive.

Do the messages move to your Sent Items folder?
