Problems with opening applications using LDAP in an AD environment

We have some "users" that are unable to open some applications using LDAP
aUAuthentication within an AD environment.
The problem seems to follow them around from PC to PC. This problem is not
specific to any particular PC.
Any thoughts out there on this ?
