Any of our clients that have SP2 installed on WinXP can no longer download
files from our site. The following error message appears:
"Internet Explorer cannot download....nameoffile etc
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The Requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."
The download dialogue appears but you are unable to select a file name to
save to.
Any other version of Windows or WinXP SP1 all work ok. I have tried
unchecking Use Passive FTP, but to no avail. Oddly, I can get the download
to work on an SP2 pc from within our own network (we have a DNS entry to
access our web site in the DMZ)
This is obviously an SP2 problem and is causing us some very serious concern
(aka the CEO is glaring at me)....HELP....
Thanks
