hi i hav a sony dvd rom and LG cd-rw (on windows XP) but
all of a sudden when i wanted to use these roms they
didnt work. The device manager in control reported this
error

"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its
configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete
or damaged. (Code 19)"

so now im stuck since i cant even format my computer
because the cd/dvd-roms are unusable.

Please reply asap..

Run the provided registry patc

That should fix your problem (basically, a filter driver is missing o
non-operational, the registry patch will delete the filter driver
references for your cdrom(s)

Basically, the reg file from above carries out the steps displayed at thi
websit

CD-ROM Access Is Missing and Messages Cite Error Code 31, Code 32, Code 19
or Code 39 After You Remove Easy CD Creator in Windows X
