Problems when using search engines

When I try to use a search engine such as yahoo or google, I get a list of results that are not really provided through yahoo but by some third party spyware on my pc that is trying to feed me advertisements, only after I scroll through a couple of pages do I actually find the yahoo results. Any idea of how I can correct this problem

At the very least you homepage has been hijacked; go to the link below to
get AdAware and SpyBot After reading the tutorial on Spybot run both. ALWAYS
update them before you run them..
