Problems when deploying to REAL device

I've been tinkering with DotNet for a while - main programming in
VB6...

Written a VERY simple app for WM5 (susing the resource kit from MS)
and it deploys fine in the emulator.

However....

When I deploy to my SPV M5000 rinning WM5, I get the following errors:
"Installation Error. Stop all applications and processes, maximise
available storage space, and run unstallation again. Support info: 4."

I want to force it to install everything to the storage card which is
1Gb, but it appears to be trying to put it all on the smallsih "Drive
C"

If I click OK on this error - it continues - then it tells me that my
device needs a newer version of the CF thanthe one on the machine.
Tried to install CF2 manually and I've not enough space!! this is
driving me potty!!!

Help!
