Hello,
I have occasionally experienced problems deleting AVI files,
and in addition to that weirdness, some times a CMD (dos)
box will open when clicking on an AVI file in explorer.
This box has the title in the blue area of "explorer.exe i-"
Within the body of the box there is the text:
DECOMPRESSQUERY: INPUT = DIV3, 24 BITS. OUTPUT = (NULL)
If I close the CMD box (via the red X) the related explorer
window also closes.
This oddity appears to a part of the process related to the avi
properties handler, becauase if I delete the key, problem goes
away -
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{87D62D94-71B3-4b9a-9489-5FE6850DC73E}]
@="Avi Properties Handler"
I can understand the tha avi peroperties handler is doing a
decompressquery, but what is it doing in a visible window?
ANY thoughts about this appreciated.
Dave
