Problems saving PowerPoint to Flash drive

I tried saving a 17.9mb PowerPoint file to a Sony 1gb flash drive and got
error (not a PowerPoint file/ Parts of this file were not saved) messages
when I tried to run the file.

Any suggestions?

PowerPoint 2003 on Windows XP

After you've saved he presentation itself to the Flash Drive and you know
it's there--
Try saving the file to a folder on your desktop...
Open the folder on your desktop>>>select all and copy
Deselect all files you know are already on the Flash drive
Go to Start (lower left), right click and then Explore
Find the Flash Drive and open the folder that contains the PPT presentation
and other files
Paste remaining contents.
There may be some hidden files somewhere in the original folder that aren't
making it across to the Flash drive.

don't save to the flash drive
save the presentation to your computer as usual then
drag and drop the original file from your computer to the drive

Thanks John and Max.

I tried all the solutions. I believe the flash drive has a problem. I
reformatted it and it seemed to work for a while, then I started getting the
error messages again. I have similar problems with other file types with the
same flash drive, but no problems when I use other flash drives with the
same files.

I was surprised because I had a lot of confidence in Sony products.

I Know Why! It's cause sony is rivals with microsoft and sony wont let their
products work with Microsoft's products!

It is really not a good idea to save your presentation directly to removable
media regardless of the size. I use a flash drive all the time, by saving to
my HD then copying to the flashdrive.
