you are trying to reply using email? thats not how its done...

you reply to the newsgroup so everyone can see your reply and
benefit from it....

Most people use fake emails becuase they dont want to be spammed...

thats how it always was on newsgroups...

You used the new Vista 'Mail' program to post your message, so I assume
that's what you usually use, am I right?

The Mail program has two buttons for replying to a message, one marked
'Reply' (for email) and one marked 'Reply Group' (for news).

I consistently click the button marked 'Reply' when reading newsgroups,
which is the wrong thing to do -- it sends an email when I intend to
post to the group.

Could this be what is happening to you?

I have removed that button (Replay) in news to prevent accidental replies
via email.

Use the "Reply To Group" option in Windows Mail. You can get this by either
right clicking the message you wish to reply to or by placing this button on
the Toolbar. Right click the Toolbar and select Customize to see the
available buttons.

Hi Martin. Alot of people already know that Windows Mail sucks, and now
you are finding out too. Have you tried another newsreader yet such a s
thunderbird? Does the same thing happen? Let us know.
