Problems reading shared files

I am using Windows XP and Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 SP3.
Some of my colleagues are having trouble with PowerPoint
presentations I have sent them. They are unable to read
some of the pages; these pages just blink/flash really
fast on the screen. This only happens with select pages
in the presentation, but they are unable to scroll past
the affected pages unless they go to "slide sorter"
view. The presentations look fine on my end. My
colleagues are also using PowerPoint 2002. Insight
appreciated!
