problems Printing a doc which is created on MAC and edited on Win

Don

There is a document which is created in Office 2000 and
been edited on MAC (Office for MAC 2000).
When it is used back on Windows and Office 2003(just
opening without editing), it opens fine and prints
fine. However if the document is edited back on Office
2003, it does not print properly.
The document prints in a shrinked form. ( the font is 12 pt
( unchanged) ,but while printing its not printing that way.
This is the problem with only those documents which are
edited on MAC and sent back to Win and "edited" in win.

Please help. Urgently.

Were you using comments or track changes while it was being edited? The
more recent versions of WinWord (2002 and 2003) leave space in the margins
for comment balloons to be printed, and to do this, shrink the text into a
portion of the page (I believe leaving a very wide top and right margin).
Is that what you are seeing?

Are you able to select View | Comments from the menu? If you use Edit | Go
To, Comments, does it find any?

This is certainly not an inherent problem with editing documents on a Mac.

PS. MAC=Media Access Control, while Mac = Macintosh computer.
