Problems opening .msg attachments

Until recently we had no problems opening forwarded messages in .msg format
that arrived in our mailbox attached to other messages. Without making any
changes to settings that we were aware of, we suddenly found ourselves unable
to do so. Double-clicking the attachment brings no reaction whatsoever,
neither is it possible to save the attachment and then open it via Explorer.
 
Do you use Outlook 2003? If you do, and have Google Desktop installed then
Google is the culprit for that. The latest version of Google Desktop causes
this problem. Uninstall Google Desktop and you should be fine.

Usually the fault of Google Desktop Search. DIsable indexing mail.
