problems networking

i am unable to network my xp home to my xp64 bit ,my home is fitted with a linksys pci ethernet card ,my xp 64 bit has a gigabyte k8 n pro board with on board gigabit networking yet i can not acess net or xp home at all,competely unable to to send any info at all ,tried runing ping ,cmd, ipconfig still no joy HELP someone
 
Just another User here. I have the same problem. but it is because there are very few / if any Network adapter card drivers for Windows XP Professional 64Bit. I have an Asus K8V SE Deluxe Mainboard and havn't found any drivers that will work yet.
