Problems hyperlinking when a comma is in the title

I'm having problems hyperlinking text to slides within the same presentation.
It seems as though if the title of the slide I'm linking to has a comma in
it, I'm unable to link to it. I go into add/edit hyperlink --> place in this
document --> click on the slide I want to link to, and if there's a comma in
the title, the little slide preview does not appear and the link doesn't work.

It's an org chart file. PowerPoint 2003, 50 page presentation. Entire size
of presentation 220KB. I perused this area and found the link for RnR FixLin
(thank you). I ran this and found that total link storage is 3754 bytes.

Any ideas? Thanks very much in advance.

This is a known feature/bug in PowerPoint. It has to do with the way
hyperlinks are stored. The information contains commas plus the title, so
putting a comma in the title just confuses PowerPoint. I believe there are
two work-arounds:

1. Get rid of the commas in your titles.
2. Instead of Insert > Hyperlink, use Slide Show > Action Settings and
select the hyperlink. I believe this works, but I can't test it now because
I am on my Mac at home (running PowerPoint 98 in which the commas don't seem
to be a problem). I think this works because Action Settings uses a long
form of the hyperlink that already has its share of commas so a few extras at
the end don't bother it.
