Have a look in the folder called 'Outbox' and delete or move out any
messages, then try to send/receive?

Disable any email scan by your AV software. It is safe to do this!!

You appear to be trying to send a large attachment?

If so try breaking the message into smaller parts, tools>accounts>your
account>properties>advanced tab, set it to 500KB>Apply/OK

HTH?
get back here if not.

Port 25 and SSL are seldom used together. Try turning off SSL on the
outgoing
mail server.

You haven't given us an error message for the incoming mail server, so if
you still
get any error messages when you try to send and receive, right click on them
and copy the entire error messages to your next message.

Do these help?

Are you really trying to send a 52MB attachment?
That error message may in itself be somewhat erroneous because
the server doesn't understand the SSL challenge. Try it without
the SSL option.
