Problems deleting file

I need to delete a folder in the System32 directory- it's actually part of
Flash (Macromedia folder). There is one file in the directory that is
protected and attempts to unselect Read Only were unsuccessful.

I've tried going in with Safe Mode to get access- I can rename it but not
delete the directory. The problem is that when I isntall another version of
Flash it can't because it can't delete this folder.

Any idea how I can delete it?

You need to change the ACL/Privileges for the folder. Once booted
to Safe Mode, Right Click the folder and the details box will have a
Security TAB. The Administrator should already have Full privileges
but you can double-check that. If necessary you may need to access
the Advanced Security panel to take ownership of the folder. Once
you've done that it should be possible to delete.
