Barrie Ashmore

I have created an account asking the user to change the
password wheb they next log on. Unfortunately I get the
error message 'You do not have permission to change the
password'.
I have checked and the groups EVERYONE and SELF are
allowed to change password.

Can anyone help please

Many thanks

Do you have minimum password age set in some policy (group or local)?

Run gpedit.msc and expand Computer Configuration -> Security Settings ->
Account Policies -> Password Policy. Minimum password age should be set to
0...

I hope this helps you out...

No all the policys for passwords are not defined.
Does this matter

Cheers
