Problems between Operating systems.

I am presently experiencing a major slow down in Access 97
running off a client machine using 2000 Pro as its
operating system. The file server that is storing the
Access database is running Windows 98 and my Domain
Server, (to which all clients and the windows 98 file
server log onto) is running Windows NT Server.

Although it might seem obvious that the multiple platforms
might be the cause of the problem, the major problems only
started to appear once Windows 2000 Pro was installed on
certain client stations.

Any feedback??
 
Are you saying that you're using a W98 for fileserving? You've got a
NT-server!!
Let that thing do what it is supposed to do: serve.
