problems accessing folders

i'm running XP HOME on a 30gb hard disk and have a
seperate 70Gb disk for data. I recently formatted the
30Gb and reinstalled xp home back on to this however
the 'my documents' folder was on the 70gb and i now no
longer have any access to use or delete this folder.

THe previous install had a password on the account and i
know this is the problem.

I checked the properties on the folder and have the three
tabs of general, sharing and security.

Anyone know of any way to access the folder, need help
desperately.
 
did you copy the old Documents folder on top of the blank Documents folder?
