Problem with XP installation

Installed XP via Windows 2000 and now have two operating systems

Only need one. Both act funny

Do I reformat harddrive and if so, how.

Help
 
It is better if you do reformat. Just boot from Windows XP cd and when you
get to the point of viewing the partitions delete them all and follow the
direction in creating a new partition. then you can format the partition and
install windows. caution: all you data will be lost if you do this.
