Problem with Vista & XP

Hello,
I am having an issue with my boot loader/manager. I isntalled Vista onto
a seperate hard drive than my Windows XP hoping I would have a boot loader to
chose between operating systems. I restarted my comptuer and it went straight
into Vista. No boot loader. My hard drive with Windows XP is listed on "My
Computer" as Drive F: with Windows XP and all other data of that hard drive.
I go to my advanced system settings startup/recovery and under default
operating system only vista is listed.

Please Help..

Did you install Vista onto an external hard drive? When you start your
computer are you getting a black and white screen with Microsoft Windows and
Earlier Version of Windows like this one?

Download VistaBootPro http://www.vistabootpro.org/ and add a legacy os. If
necessary, copy the ntldr, ntdetect.com and boot.ini files from your XP
volume to the drive with the Vista boot file on it.

Hello,
Hey guys thanks for the help. I did not install it to an external hard
drive it is just on another internal drive. I do not get a boot to earlier
version of windows or anything on my system start up. Like I said it goes
straight to Vista. I will try those two boot loading apps.
