Problem with utility installation

I'm trying to install the Windows Install Clean-up utility. However, when I
try, a window comes up telling me there is already something being installed
and I can't continue. This happens with other installation attempts with
other programs. I'm going to smash this computer over my head. Quite
annoying. Please help.

Don't.

Guess which will win when the two try to occupy the same space-time. You
might live without a computer but I'd say an unsmashed head might come in
handy in the days ahead.
