problem with update xp sp1 817778

When installing recommended update for windows XP SP1 (817778) I receive the
following error:

An error occurred while copying file SQLDB20.dll.
Cannot copy file to destination directory.
Click retry to retry the operation or click cancel to

Retry just brings up the error again, Cancel lets it go thru but the update
does not install.

Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
