Problem with Toshiba P20 upgrade to XP Pro

Hello, I have a Toshiba P20 Notebook pre-install XP Home and I want to update to Pro. When I start the upgrade after it reboot and start the Pro Install the screen go black and nothing is doing afterward. Anyone can tell me why is this happening?

Laptops are very proprietary. Toshiba may have set up their laptops in a
special way that is causing your issue. Contact Toshiba tech support
for the answer.
