I've done something stupid somehow. I've evidently hit something
incorrectly that has caused the taskmgr to only show the active tasks. I
can no longer see the processes or performance tabs. I do have
administrator rights on my machine. Any idea on how to fix this?

Open Task Manager and double-click in the border area.

You're running in what's called "Small Footprint Mode." To change back
and forth from this mode to regular mode, just double-click on the
border.
