Problem with Status Bar

Some windows that I open don't have the status bar on
them, and I constantly find constantly clicking on
View/Status Bar, what's wrong?

I would like to know what type's of graphic cards are best
for a Sis730s motherboard that has 1 4xAGP Slot, 2 PCIs
Slots and 1 AMR Slot.

Honestly, is my motherboard good, bad, ok, sucks, better

To make your Status Bar reappear (and stick)

Close all your applications
Open Explorer (Window Key-E)
Select View, Status Bar (you should now see the status bar)
Goto Tools, Folder Options
Goto the View tab
Hit, apply to all folders
Hit ok to accept
Close that instance of Explorer

That should fix it for you

(note this is the procedure to get the status bar back in IE as well)
