Problem with shortcuts

Hi,
Im a game developer, and I am wondering about this. How do you make a shortcut to an exe file, and make the exe file act like it is being directly opened from the folder that it is in.

I assume were dealing with windows, if so i believ the answer is pretty simple.

In the shortcut properties,set the "start in" directory to that of the exe. That will act as if you are opening from that folder.
