Problem with Shortcut menus in ms access 2007

M

Martin

Hi ,

I'm trying to convert an Access (adp) application is currently in Access
2000 format to 2007.

I have several subforms with pop-up menus (declared in the "Shortcut Menu
Bar" property with the "Shortcut Menu" property set to "Yes") on subforms
that will not display in Access 2007 when the subform is displayed on a
parent form.

The pop-up menus are displayed as expected when right clicking on the form
in Access 2000, 2002 and 2003.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and have the solution?

Hello Martin,

I understand that custom shortcut menu on an embedded subform in Access
2007 does not work as that in Access 2000/2002/2003. Based on my research,
this is a known issue in Access 2007 and product team has recevied the
reports about this. They will evaluate the impact and there might be a fix
for this problem in the near future. If there is any update, we will let
you know as soon as possible.

If you'd like to know the status of this issue more closely, you could also
contact Microsoft Product Support Service. For a complete list of Microsoft
Product Support Services phone numbers, please go to the following address

Your feedback is taken seriourly and is forwarded to product team as a plus
for their evaluatioin. I do understand your concern in this scenario, I
also suggest you can submit this feedback to our product feedback center:

Hello Martin,

As for as I know, there is no work around for this issue currently unless
you use full menus. However, this apparently might not be feasible in most
situations. Sorry for any inconvenience it has brought and we appreicate
your patience. Thanks.
