problem with Setup Menu

Hello, my name is Dustin and a wyile back, i installed this upgrade thingy
that was supposed to improve the performance of my BIOS, but instead, it
locked up the whole setup menu. i cant install a new hard drive until i find
out how to unlock it, there is no password that i have to type in. PLEASE
HELP ME ASAP
 
try to remember what that upgrade thingy was and send an email to the people
who made it.
 
I have no idea, i downloaded it from a website, but i dont remember what it
is.please help!
