Problem with report preview

I am working with Access 2000 and whenever I go to preview one of my reports
it completely closes out of the database and Access. Can anyone tell me why
it's doing this and how to fix it? I tried compacting and repairing the
database, but it made no difference.

If it is just one report, and not others, then there must be something
specific to the report that is causing this. Two thoughts to help diagnose
the problem:

1. Have you tried running the report's record source query alone (as a
query) to ensure there are no errors there first?
2. Try changing acViewPreview to acViewNormal to see if it is specific to
the preview, or if it also happens when being sent directly to the printer.
That should at least help diagnose the problem more precisely.

When I try to access the query, it does the same thing. The other queries
and reports seem to be okay.
