Problem with Querry Criteria

I have the following items in the discription list.
Some of Which I dont want to be shown on the report.

00008 30 Kg Plastic Drum
00016 Lycra Cone
00017 Paper Cone
00034 Fresh Lycra
10/S PC Yarn
100 Kg Plastic Drum
120 Kg Plastic Drum
150 Kg Plastic Drum
16/s PC Yarn
20 Kg Plastic White Can
20/S PC Yarn
200 Kg Plastic Drum
24/s PC Yarn
30 Kg Plastic Drum
30 Kg Plastic White Can
30/S PC Yarn
40/s PC Yarn
Advance Amount Paid
Aluminum Cans
Aluminum Mix
Broken Glass
Burned Raisen
Cartons
Cash Paid
Paid Amount
Misc Expense


When i Put in the querry criteria

not like "Advance Amount Paid"
not like "Paid Amount"
not like "Cash Paid"
not like "Misc Expense"

The querry does not work
it still shows me the descriptions i want not to be shown


Please tell me what am i doing wrong

You are entering your criteria one on each line, at the bottom of the query
design window?

If so, these are treated as ORs. Provided your data meets ANY of the
criteria, it's included. So, the record that contains "Advance Amount Paid"
meets the criteria:
not like "Paid Amount"
so it gets included.

Try putting an expression like this on ONE line of the criteria:
NOT IN ("Advance Amount Paid", "Paid Amount", "Cash Paid", "Misc Expense")
