Problem with Pivot Table and Dates

Create one cloum and convert date to month. Or use formula
in pivot table.
 
When you drop the Date field into your pivot table, i.e. Months going
down the left hand side of the table, right click and select >Group &
Outline>Group

You can then choose from the list supplied in the dialog box that
appears to set the groupings my month year days etc.
