Problem with my desktop icons

[Admiral Captain]

My top row of desktop icons keep getting "cut in half". The bottom half of
the icon is shown, but the top half just isn't there.

If I highlight the icons, they come back to full.

This seems to be happening randomly.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? (A video driver, a program,
etc).
