My PC is windows xp pro.
Suddenly my ADSL router is not working anymore.
Only the power indicator is in on position. I cannot access with it any
more.
Even the configuration portion is also gone.
Previously from start > connect to > show all connection I could go to LAN.
Even that is gone now.
Can somebody please help and tell me what's gone wrong and how can I get
back
my LAN network.
Tanks & Regards.

Turn off your PC-based software firewall, then see if the problem persists.
If it does, here are the usual steps to resolve it:
1. Read the ADSL router manual and find out its factory IP address.
It's usually something like 192.168.0.1.
2. Reset the router to factory condition.
3. Modify the IP address of your PC's network adapter so that it
begins with 192.168.0.
4. Launch Internet Explorer and type in the router's IP address.
5. Enter the router's account name and password stated in the manual.
6. Configure the ADSL modem as per the instructions from your ISP.

Call your ISP, they can check it from their end.

If the ADSL router is a separate unit from the ADSL modem, disconnect you
PC's network cable and connect it directly to the modem. Then with the help
of your ADSL ISP tech support, configure XP to use ADSL. If this works and
your were still un-able to get the router to work, your router may be
"dead".
