I have included a page containing a calculator in a web
site which I have recently launched. The calculator is
based on an Excel spreadsheet which has been converted
for web site use with a programme called Exceleverywhere.
The calculator provides prices and a grand total in
Australian dollars, and the grand total can then be
converted to a currency of the user's choice by means of
a link to a proprietary currency conversion service
called Jazconvert.
The problem I have is that when the currency conversion
link is clicked, the conversion screen shows up "behind"
the web page containing the calculator, rather than in
front of it. It is then necessary to reduce the web page
to the bottom menu bar on the monitor in order to see the
Jazconvert conversion screen. Once having made the
conversion, it is then necessary to enlarge the web page
once again to see the result.
However, in the process, (1) the original data has
disappeared and (2)it is necessary to refresh the screen
in order to implement the change.
This is proving confusing and annoying to users and I
wonder if anyone can offer a solution?
The link to the page concerned is:
